HECC is a member-driven organization that provides resources, networking, community, and a yearly technology conference to its members who are teachers and technology professionals in K-12 school systems. HECC aims to be a resource to these technology professionals and teachers who want to utilize technology in schools and the classroom.

The Michigan Association for Educational Data Systems (MAEDS) is an organization comprised of individuals interested in educational computing and related activities. MAEDS is incorporated as a non-profit organization in the State of Michigan. Its purpose is to provide, promote, encourage, advise and cooperate in the use of technology to support the educational enterprise.
